Role overview
This position focuses on wealth and bancassurance sales within a banking environment in Abu Dhabi. The role is centered on meeting revenue goals, supporting customer onboarding, handling compliance-related duties, and strengthening client relationships through responsive service and product knowledge.
Sales and revenue delivery
- Work toward the assigned monthly targets for wealth and bancassurance business, aligned with overall business objectives and KPIs.
- Complete sales paperwork and related customer documentation accurately and on time.
- Improve customer experience by addressing requests promptly and reducing turnaround time for business processing.
- Generate a minimum volume of leads for liabilities, trade working capital, and program lending products.
- Coordinate with different internal teams to support application handling and customer onboarding.
Compliance and operational responsibilities
- Watch for potential money laundering activity and work with management on corrective measures.
- Follow banking rules and internal standards related to customer acceptance, data privacy, anti-money laundering, and KYC.
- Liaise with customer service and processing teams when required to maintain service standards.
- Reply to compliance and sanctions-related queries within the required timeframe.
- Ensure there are no pending issues related to requested deferrals.
- Complete any mandatory training or certification needed for the position.
- Keep contact details updated and current at all times.
Day-to-day accountabilities
- Develop a clear understanding of the customer portfolio and identify unmet needs among business banking clients to shape value propositions and support market research.
- Prepare written and verbal presentations that align stakeholders and show tangible business impact.
Decision-making framework
- Recommend decisions in line with the approved authorization matrix.
- Operate within Group policies and the wider governance framework of the organization.
Experience and knowledge
- Prior experience in bancassurance or wealth products in the UAE is required.
- Strong knowledge of financial services and wealth management banking products is expected.
- Good awareness of market trends, competitive offerings, demographic influences, and industry best practices is needed.
- Understanding of wealth and bancassurance regulations, legal structures for different business types, and risk considerations is important.
