We seek dynamic individuals eager to make meaningful contributions to our team. Currently, we are hiring a full-time Talent Acquisition Business Partner dedicated to supporting our Operations unit. This position operates out of our Mississauga, Ontario offices, with alternative locations in Calgary, Alberta, or Montréal, Québec.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment and staffing efforts throughout the organization.
• Create and deploy recruitment best practices on a national level.
• Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, collaborating closely with hiring managers to enhance recruitment efficiency.
• Establish and nurture strong partnerships with stakeholders to ensure high-quality recruitment service delivery.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience reflecting Sobeys’ values and employer brand at every touchpoint.
• Review and monitor external job postings to maintain consistent employer branding.
• Build and sustain talent pipelines aligned with business needs effectively and professionally.
• Utilize diverse recruitment channels and sourcing methods to identify potential candidates.
• Support ongoing recruitment projects and pinpoint areas for enhancing quality and efficiency in recruitment services.
• Advocate for innovative recruitment strategies and evaluate their business impact and return on investment.
• Contribute to crafting budget-conscious recruitment and retention initiatives.
• Collaborate with recruitment teams and hiring managers to continuously optimize talent acquisition processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in comprehensive staffing and talent acquisition, including direct cooperation with hiring managers.
• Self-driven with strong analytical skills and a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing and working collaboratively.
• Proficient in candidate sourcing using platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Boolean search strategies, and Google.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of Indeed and SuccessFactors is advantageous.
• Fluency in both French and English (written and verbal) to liaise with colleagues across Canada and support employees nationwide.
