Role Overview
HealthHub Clinic in Al Karama, Dubai, is looking for a Specialist Internal Medicine Physician who enjoys long-term patient care and managing chronic diseases in an outpatient setting. This position provides the chance to work in a busy community clinic serving a diverse patient base, with a significant Filipino population, emphasizing the importance of Tagalog language skills for effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist consultations for internal medicine cases in an outpatient environment.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses with individualized care plans.
- Manage patients with complex and co-existing medical conditions.
- Review and interpret lab results and diagnostic tests.
- Develop chronic disease management strategies and promote preventive health initiatives.
- Maintain detailed medical records and documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties such as Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, and Pediatrics.
- Engage in continuous medical education and quality improvement programs.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Licensed Specialist Internal Medicine Physician holding DHA, DOH (HAAD), or MOH certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of specialist practice, preferably with previous clinical experience in the UAE.
- Proven expertise in outpatient internal medicine and chronic disease management.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Tagalog is mandatory to support the patient community.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage and retain patients.
- Experience managing chronic diseases independently, including diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and cardiovascular risk.
Preferred Attributes
