Job Overview

This role offers a unique chance for those with a legal background to transition into the position of a Special Agent at the FBI. Major Responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out investigations into potential breaches of federal laws, cybersecurity threats, and public safety concerns.
  • Utilize sound judgment, adaptability, and resourcefulness to address investigative challenges.
  • Build and sustain effective cooperative relationships with law enforcement bodies at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
  • Maintain the physical fitness necessary to perform active law enforcement duties effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
  • The ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance is required.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for the role.
  • Meet all FBI employment eligibility standards.
  • Possess a bachelor's degree or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, preferably in law or a related legal field, from an accredited U.S. institution.
  • Submit official college transcripts to verify education.

Salary and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $93,749 to $133,200 annually, depending on base pay, locality adjustments, and availability pay.
