Job Overview

This opportunity allows professionals with a medical background to transition into a Special Agent role at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This role is a unique chance to leverage healthcare experience while developing investigative skills to combat national threats. As a Special Agent, you will apply your clinical knowledge to protect the nation from cybercrime, terrorism, fraud, and other security challenges through critical thinking, adaptability, and collaboration with expert teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute investigations regarding federal law infringements, cybersecurity concerns, and public safety matters.
  • Employ discretion, initiative, and flexibility to satisfy complex investigative demands.
  • Establish and sustain productive relationships with law enforcement bodies spanning federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international jurisdictions.
  • Maintain physical fitness levels to meet the requirements for law enforcement duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship.
  • Capability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for assignments.
  • Must meet FBI employment eligibility standards.
  • Possession of at least a bachelor's degree (preferably in medical, health, public safety, or a related domain) from an accredited U.S. institution. Submission of official college transcripts is required for degree verification.

Compensation and Application Process

  • Salary range for this position is between $93,749 and $133,200, depending on base pay, locality adjustments, and availability pay.
