Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage investigations related to potential breaches of federal laws, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety threats.
  • Exercise sound judgment, creativity, and flexibility to meet diverse investigative requirements.
  • Develop and sustain strong partnerships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement organizations.
  • Maintain physical fitness necessary to perform demanding law enforcement responsibilities effectively.

Requirements and Eligibility

  • Applicants must be United States citizens.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel as the job demands.
  • Compliance with FBI employment eligibility standards.
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree or higher—preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or related fields—from an accredited U.S. university or college.
  • Submission of official college transcripts to verify educational qualifications.

Compensation

Salary ranges from $93,749 to $133,200 annually, depending on base salary, geographic locality, and additional availability pay.
