Job Overview
This role offers professionals with an accounting background the chance to transition to a Special Agent position within the FBI. Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and carry out investigations concerning federal law violations, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, adaptability, and resourcefulness to meet the demands of various investigations.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with law enforcement partners at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
- Maintain physical fitness standards necessary to perform law enforcement duties effectively.
Candidate Requirements
- United States citizenship is mandatory.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Willingness to travel as dictated by assignment needs.
- Fulfillment of FBI employment eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. university or college is required. Preferred degrees include accounting, business administration, finance, or forensic accounting. Transcripts must be provided to verify all qualifications.
Compensation
The position offers a salary range from $93,749 to $133,200 annually, adjusted based on base pay, locality, and any applicable availability pay.
