Job Overview

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into possible violations of federal law, including cybercrime and safeguarding public safety.
• Apply judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet the demands of complex investigations.
• Establish and sustain productive relationships with various law enforcement entities across federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
• Maintain physical fitness requisite for law enforcement responsibilities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Your accounting and finance expertise equips you with analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret intricate data. Familiarity with tools such as the R programming language, Tableau, financial accounting, budgeting, and risk management enhances your proficiency. These capabilities will now be applied to identify evidentiary patterns, generate insights, and take ownership of investigations within the FBI's framework.

Key eligibility criteria include:

• U.S. citizenship.
• Eligibility to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Compliance with FBI employment eligibility standards.
• A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited U.S. institution, preferably in accounting or related fields such as business administration, finance, or forensic accounting.

Verification of educational credentials via college transcripts is mandatory.

Compensation

Salary ranges from $93,749 to $133,200 annually, adjusted per base, locality, and availability pay.
