Job Overview

This role as an FBI Special Agent offers a unique opportunity to transition a healthcare or medical background into a federal law enforcement career focused on safeguarding national security. The position involves applying analytical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and a foundation in healthcare knowledge to uncover evidence and support investigations addressing serious threats including cybercrime, terrorism, and violent offenses.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of inquiries into potential breaches of federal laws related to cybersecurity and public safety.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and adaptability when meeting the demands of complex investigations.
  • Develop and sustain collaborative relationships with a variety of law enforcement agencies across federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
  • Maintain physical fitness standards requisite for law enforcement duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens capable of obtaining a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
  • Must be willing to undertake travel as part of the role.
  • Have a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited U.S. institution, preferably in medical, health, public safety, or related disciplines. Official college transcripts are required for degree verification.

Salary and Employment Details

The salary range for this position is $93,749 to $133,200 annually, adjusted according to base pay, locality, and availability pay. The role is classified as full-time and requires working onsite in the Greater Philadelphia area.
