The Spare Parts Officer will play a crucial role in assisting engineering and maintenance teams, ensuring that materials and spare parts are available promptly, coordinating their movement, and tracking usage to support seamless service and upkeep activities aligned with KONE's standards for quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in pinpointing necessary materials and spare components.
- Source the most appropriate suppliers for urgent material needs.
- Verify materials availability and coordinate timely purchasing.
- Manage the logistics of materials pickup and delivery across various sites.
- Initiate and handle material requisitions within the company systems.
- Document, monitor, and track material consumption across all SHN inventory locations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Between 2 to 5 years of experience in materials coordination, procurement, logistics, or maintenance support roles.
- Proficient with ERP platforms such as SAP for handling material requisitions and inventory tracking.
- Technical understanding of elevator, escalator, door systems, and associated spare parts (both KONE-specific and other brands).
- Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Basic familiarity with maintenance processes and spare parts management.
