Applicants should bring at least 1 year of simultaneous interpreting experience. A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is the minimum educational background mentioned. Certifications are preferred and may include CMI, CHI, CCHI, an interpreting diploma from an interpreting school, NBCMI, a 40-hour medical interpreting course, or a college degree.
Language fluency is essential, with strong spoken and written English and Spanish required. Native-level fluency is preferred, along with professional-level simultaneous interpreting capability.
