Spa Therapist (Female)

Role Overview

The Luxury Collection in Doha is hiring a full-time Spa Therapist to deliver high-quality spa and wellness services in a luxury hospitality setting. This position is non-management and based at the Doha property in Um Al Saneem Street, Qatar.

What You Will Do

• Deliver massage treatments using appropriate tools, props, and products.
• Perform body therapies such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy sessions.
• Review guest needs before treatment and ask about any conditions that could affect service, including allergies, high blood pressure, or pregnancy.
• Stay current with modern massage methods, treatment techniques, and related modalities.
• Welcome guests, escort them to and from treatment areas, and set up the room, workstation, and draping before service.
• Check in with guests throughout the treatment to ensure comfort, safety, and a premium experience.
• Recommend and sell spa and salon services, including related retail products.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain tools, equipment, workstations, and treatment rooms throughout the shift.
• Remove waste and soiled linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each day.
• Follow the assigned schedule closely and manage treatment timing throughout the day.
• Respond to inappropriate guest conduct according to company procedures, including ending a service if necessary and notifying a supervisor.
• Keep current licenses and service credentials active as required by the region.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company property.
• Interact with guests and colleagues in a professional, courteous, and supportive manner.
• Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Technical, trade, or vocational school qualification is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant spa or massage experience is preferred.
• No prior supervisory experience is required.
• Must hold a valid state or regional massage license.
• Ability to remain on your feet for long periods and handle light physical tasks up to 10 pounds.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are needed for spa service delivery.
