About the Position
This role is based at Missouri Circuit Courts and offers the chance to work within the Missouri Judiciary, engaging with diverse dedicated professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Manage advanced court case processing using electronic filing systems, involving independent judgment and knowledge of statutes, policies, and regulations with minimal supervision.
- Regularly interact with the public, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Conduct financial record keeping through automated case management tools.
- Support circuit judges or associate circuit judges, handling broad responsibilities within the division's jurisdiction.
- Perform technical clerical tasks including scanning documents to docket entries and assuring scan quality.
- Operate electronic sound recording equipment.
- Provide clerical aid to judges as needed and serve in courtroom duties such as noting continuances and administering oaths to witnesses and jurors.
- Respond to and direct inquiries from attorneys, court staff, and the public both in person and via telephone.
- Manage documents received from the e-Filing system and perform various other assigned duties.
- Handle case files including review and initiation, preparing legal documents like warrants and summonses, and overseeing docket control.
- Review legal documents to ensure all required filing information is present and act in line with court rules.
- Conduct accounting functions including money receipt and disbursement, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.
- Create documents related to court operations such as court orders, calendars, hearing notices, and manage the flow and processing of electronically filed proceedings.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or completion of at least 60 semester hours from an accredited institution, plus one year of broad administrative experience involving varied technical office duties.
- Equivalent experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for formal education.

- Knowledge of organizational functions and the authority scope of the court system.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

- Skilled at maintaining complex records and generating reports using automated systems.
Work Environment and Conditions
