Job description
Role Overview
This is a Director-level sourcing and procurement opportunity within Morgan Stanley’s Corporate Services function in Mumbai. The role focuses on leading non-IT sourcing efforts, strengthening vendor management, and improving cost efficiency across global operations.
Corporate Services supports the business by delivering workplace and commercial solutions that improve the employee and client experience while helping maximize the value of sourcing and third-party relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive sourcing programs for non-IT spend areas such as HR, travel, and marketing.
- Own the end-to-end RFP process, including drafting documents, reviewing bids, assessing proposals, and leading negotiations.
- Create and implement sourcing plans and commercial deal strategies with suppliers.
- Manage contract drafting, award execution, ongoing administration, and supplier relationships.
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Tax teams to support contractual, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
- Prepare recurring reports on activity and savings, and keep project records well organized and current.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience in a comparable sourcing or procurement role.
- Demonstrated experience managing sourcing across North America and EMEA markets.
- Strong verbal, written, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation capability and solid financial analysis skills, including strong Excel use.
- Hands-on experience with Ariba Procurement and Sourcing.
- Ability to perform effectively in a high-paced environment.
