Job description
Job Purpose
This role is accountable for driving sales and profit outcomes for the assigned product lines while maximizing returns for both TD SYNNEX and the vendor. Although the position owns revenue performance, it functions as a sales-enablement role centered on marketing initiatives, sales training, sales assistance, technical pre-sales support, and management of vendor contracts and relationships. The work is focused on both the extended TD SYNNEX sales organization and partner network.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of business plans for the vendor product portfolio and related services to meet agreed revenue goals, including forecasting and planning with vendors.
- Run sales-enablement initiatives for TD SYNNEX and partners, and execute marketing activities that support product objectives.
- Build a strong understanding of market conditions, customer requirements, and competitor activity.
- Help shape planning processes that improve inventory turnover, fulfilment, and reduction of obsolete stock.
- Prepare and share reports that support commercial and business decisions.
- Maintain and grow operational vendor relationships while improving vendor and partner satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Channels Sales Team to help ensure the sales function performs strongly for the assigned product group.
- Keep up-to-date with sales processes, proposals, pipeline tracking, and partner engagement so corrective actions can be recommended when needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Between 3 and 5 years of relevant professional experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Marketing, Business Studies, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required; an equivalent qualification is also acceptable.
- Strong data entry ability.
- Capacity to follow instructions and ask for clarification when necessary.
- Sound problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making ability.
- High attention to detail with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate in English and in other local or regional languages.
- Comfortable delivering formal presentations.
- Skilled at engaging with senior stakeholders, including managers and above.
- Persuasive negotiation skills and the ability to promote ideas effectively.
- Ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds and identities.
- Strong organization and time-management skills with a focus on completing tasks.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptable to change and able to adjust quickly when priorities shift.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure, including heavy workloads and tight deadlines.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build productive working relationships.
- Effective multitasking capability.
Working Conditions
- There may be occasional non-standard working hours or overtime depending on business needs.
- Frequent travel is required, approximately 25%.
