Position Overview
Join OXID eSales AG as a Software Content Specialist responsible for crafting clear, accessible technical content focused on the OXID eShop platform. This role emphasizes explaining complex software topics in understandable ways through documentation, tutorials, demo setups, and multimedia formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop practical examples, demo environments, and technical manuals for the OXID eShop software.
- Perform installation, testing, and detailed analysis of OXID systems and extensions to ensure accurate knowledge transfer.
- Present technical topics clearly via written documents, short videos, presentations, and other media.
- Create and enhance technical materials about OXID eShop functionalities, modules, APIs, and support their structured distribution.
- Collaborate closely with both technical and commercial departments.
- Support feature rollouts and releases through technical guidance aimed at developers, partners, and customers.
- Build and improve a well-organized knowledge base for all stakeholders, utilizing innovative media tools.
- Engage in professional dialogue with clients and partners on technical topics.
- Leverage modern technologies, including AI tools, to boost content creation efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in software development, ideally with PHP, MySQL, and Symfony frameworks.
- Strong technical aptitude coupled with the passion to simplify complex subject matter.
- Familiarity with OXID eShop or other e-commerce platforms.
- Capability to communicate technical concepts effectively in writing, visually, and through short video segments.
- Ability to work independently with a structured approach while maintaining team collaboration.
- Fluent German language proficiency, at negotiation level (C2).
- Must have legal authorization to work in Germany.
