A UK-based business is looking for a Social Media Marketing Executive to join on a permanent full-time basis and work entirely from home anywhere in the UK. The position suits someone who already has hands-on social media experience and is comfortable planning content, interacting with online audiences, and reviewing campaign results.

Role Summary

You will take charge of the client’s everyday social media activity, including content planning, scheduling, community interaction, and performance tracking. The role supports wider brand growth through consistent, well-organised social media execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and organise content plans for the client’s social channels.
• Write attention-grabbing captions, short-form copy, and briefs for visual assets.
• Handle day-to-day community engagement by replying to comments and direct messages.
• Monitor social media results and prepare performance updates using analytics platforms.
• Work closely with the broader marketing team on campaigns and product or brand launches.
• Spot relevant trends and suggest content ideas that support brand objectives.
• Keep the content calendar and approval process well structured and up to date.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will have prior experience in social media or digital marketing, strong written communication abilities, and a clear understanding of how to maintain a consistent brand voice. Confidence across major social platforms is important, along with familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools. A good visual sense and basic content creation ability will be useful in this role. Since the role is fully remote, you should be self-driven, dependable, and able to work effectively from a quiet home setup with stable internet access.

Nice-to-Have Experience

It would be an added advantage to have used tools such as Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, or Canva. Exposure to paid social campaigns or influencer collaborations is also desirable.
