Role overview
This role is for a Social Media Manager / Content Creator based in the United States and posted on behalf of a partner organization that oversees applications and the rest of the hiring process. The position focuses on building a strong B2B brand presence through strategic social media management and original content development.
You will take complex cybersecurity, compliance, and technology topics and turn them into clear, engaging stories that speak to both executive and technical audiences. The job blends content creation with social media execution, including video editing, visual design, and campaign support. You will work closely with marketing leadership, subject matter experts, and senior executives to bring ideas to life and help improve awareness, engagement, and pipeline influence. This is a high-energy, creative position suited to someone who enjoys working where strategy, design, and performance marketing meet.
Responsibilities
- Manage the social content schedule, publishing rhythm, and daily execution across primary company channels.
- Produce varied content such as social posts, short videos, campaign materials, executive thought pieces, event summaries, and customer success stories.
- Turn dense cybersecurity, compliance, and technical ideas into simple, compelling, audience-friendly narratives.
- Edit and reuse webinars, interviews, demos, and event footage into polished assets ready for social distribution.
- Create and modify graphics, motion assets, quote cards, carousels, and branded campaign collateral.
- Partner with internal teams to support campaigns, product launches, events, and wider marketing programs.
- Convert long-form content into multiple channel-ready formats to extend reach and improve results.
- Monitor performance data and share insights that help raise engagement, reach, and marketing impact.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, communications, or B2B storytelling.
- Demonstrated success running social channels and producing content in a fast-moving B2B, SaaS, or technology-led environment.
- Excellent writing and narrative skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical or cybersecurity subjects.
- Practical experience making short-form video and visual content with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, or Figma.
- Experience planning and delivering content calendars while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with designers, marketers, executives, and technical subject matter experts.
- Strong grasp of content metrics and the ability to adjust work based on performance insights.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, employee advocacy programs, and digital content workflows.
- Creative approach with strong attention to detail and brand consistency.
- Preferred background in cybersecurity, SaaS, cloud, or similarly technical B2B settings.
Perks and benefits
- Flexible remote or hybrid work setup with freedom over where you work.
- Competitive compensation based on experience.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage options.
- Paid parental leave and generous flexible time off.
- Reimbursement support for certifications and training.
- Access to digital mental health and wellbeing resources.
