Role Overview
This position is dedicated to enhancing the digital footprint of an animal welfare initiative by managing and expanding its presence on platforms such as Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The person hired will transform raw video footage into engaging short-form video stories that captivate audiences and motivate real-world support for animal causes. Responsibilities include overseeing all content stages—from ideation and video editing to publishing and performance tracking—while developing the organization’s voice to emotionally connect donors in the US, India, and around the world.
Key Deliverables
- Create and implement a detailed content calendar customized to each social media platform.
- Edit and produce engaging short-form videos using provided footage to maximize audience interaction and shares.
- Compose captions and publish posts across all assigned social channels.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators to enhance future campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate on creative strategies that deepen the emotional bond between supporters and animal beneficiaries.
- Ensure uniform brand voice and messaging across every platform.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record managing social media profiles for brands or organizations, emphasizing video content creation.
- Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable tools.
- Strong storytelling ability and skill in writing captions aimed at diverse audiences.
- Experience using analytics platforms to measure social media impact.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple channels and deadlines simultaneously.
- A strong passion for animal welfare and the capability to convey that enthusiasm through compelling digital storytelling.
- Experience engaging international audiences is advantageous.
- Commitment to continuous remote collaboration.
