About the Role
We are seeking a Social Media Intern to manage day-to-day social media operations on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube for our clients. The in-house team will provide all content assets such as images, videos, reels, and creative materials. The intern will be responsible for timely content posting, engaging with the audience, coordinating with creative teams, and assisting with video shoot planning and script development.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload approved content including images, videos, reels, stories, and updates on the social media pages of clients.
- Oversee and manage assigned clients' Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube accounts.
- Respond professionally to comments, messages, and queries following posts.
- Collaborate with design, content, and video teams to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
- Contribute ideas for reels, video concepts, captions, hooks, and basic scripts.
- Support video production by assisting with direction, product showcasing, model coordination, and content sequencing.
- Maintain and follow social media posting schedules to ensure consistent updates.
- Monitor basic audience engagement metrics, responses, and inquiries.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, reels formats, and content strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Reels, Stories, and Shorts.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to write captions and generate content ideas.
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
- Eager to learn about social media management and digital marketing.
- Comfortable assisting during video shoots.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Canva.
- Interest in short-form videos, reels, and sectors like fashion, jewellery, lifestyle, retail, or real estate.
- Prior experience managing social media pages is an advantage.
- Female candidates are preferred due to client-facing shoot coordination requirements.
