Position Overview
Toyota Canada Inc. is inviting applications for a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist focusing on social media and content management, based primarily in Scarborough, ON with a hybrid work model. This role is under the direct supervision of the Manager of Digital Marketing and requires expertise in managing social platforms and content creation specifically for Toyota and Lexus brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily social media management and content creation efforts for Toyota and Lexus across all platforms.
- Collaborate with the Digital Manager to develop and implement social and content strategies supporting product launches, sales, and customer retention goals.
- Oversee social media campaigns on channels including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring engaging brand-consistent content.
- Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools like Falcon and Sysomos to optimize campaigns and improve results.
- Maintain and manage reports and dashboards to enhance user experience across social channels, leveraging insights for business decisions.
- Create daily social posts aligned with trending topics and audience interests, maintaining a strong brand presence.
- Stay current on emerging social media trends, platforms, and best practices to guide future initiatives.
- Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and internal marketing teams to establish monthly content calendars.
- Contribute innovative ideas to maximize social media's effectiveness in achieving corporate communication and business objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of four years' pertinent professional experience in digital marketing and social media.
- Well-versed with current and upcoming digital and social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and presentation capabilities.
- Proven leadership in project management, organizational skills, and negotiation.
- Capability to build consensus across organizational levels on key initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail and adeptness at handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Self-driven with the ability to manage tasks independently from inception to completion.
- Experience in process optimization to enhance efficiency.
- Dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences.
