Overview
We are seeking a Social Media Executive to join our London (Mayfair) office full-time with an annual salary of £35,000. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Origination, this role focuses on managing, expanding, and elevating the company's social media presence while also building the CEO's personal brand on key platforms.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and growth of the company’s social media channels.
- Maintain a well-organized content calendar aligned with marketing, PR, and corporate goals.
- Create and produce short-form video content in-house, including CEO-focused videos, interviews, commentary, event highlights, and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Craft compelling written and visual content customized for platforms such as LinkedIn and others.
- Ensure all communications are consistent with the brand’s tone, website, campaigns, and overall branding strategy.
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop content that establishes them as a respected and influential figure within the industry.
- Track industry news and market trends to pinpoint opportunities for timely CEO commentary via social media.
- Develop reactive social content that addresses relevant news and developments.
- Work with PR and marketing teams to amplify media coverage and repurpose thought leadership for social channels.
- Capture photos and videos from company and industry events to create content for pre-event, live updates, and post-event promotion to maximize brand exposure.
- Regularly monitor social media analytics to evaluate performance and refine content strategies.
- Stay current with evolving social media trends and platform capabilities, including leveraging AI tools for content discovery.
- Experiment with new content styles and formats to enhance engagement and reach.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Experience managing social media accounts for a company, brand, or senior executive.
- Deep knowledge of LinkedIn and best practices in social media marketing.
- Proficient in filming and editing short-form video content.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling abilities.
- Aptitude for identifying relevant industry news and creating timely, engaging content.
- Creative, self-driven, and comfortable owning content initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and conduct in-house filming sessions.
