About the role
We are looking for a Social Media and Digital Operations Specialist who works carefully, follows established procedures, and performs well in a busy environment. This position is best suited for someone who is highly detail-focused, comfortable managing several priorities at once, and committed to getting every task completed accurately the first time.
You should be someone who likes to stay hands-on, gather all needed details before acting, and move quickly without sacrificing quality. Success in this role depends on balancing speed with precision, operating smoothly under pressure, and maintaining both flexibility and consistency as daily needs change.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage company social media profiles across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Keep social content updated and aligned with brand standards and business goals.
- Plan, schedule, and publish posts according to the content calendar.
- Maintain the company website by updating pages, blog posts, and news content as needed.
- Oversee online business directory entries so information stays consistent and accurate.
- Track and handle online reviews and customer feedback.
- Work with outside partners such as website developers, CRM vendors, and digital marketing agencies.
- Coordinate fixes, upgrades, and troubleshooting for digital tools and platforms.
- Keep CRM records current and ready for marketing use.
- Review data from digital channels to support better decisions and improvements.
- Support the rollout of digital marketing campaigns and monitor how well they perform.
- Provide general administrative help for digital operations when required.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar position.
- A demonstrated history of managing online platforms and coordinating with external vendors.
- Experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress or Wix.
- Strong planning, organization, and project coordination skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
- Capacity to handle multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-moving setting.
- An analytical approach with a mindset for ongoing improvement.
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
- Basic design ability using tools such as Canva or Adobe Spark is an added advantage.
