Overview

A client in the airline sector is hiring a Social Media Content Specialist to cover a maternity leave assignment for approximately 3.5 months. This is a contract role based in the Atlanta metropolitan area, with a hybrid setup that requires working onsite 2 to 3 days each week in south Atlanta. The position is built around 40 hours per week.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and drive paid as well as organic social media initiatives across brand, ESG, sponsorship, and Olympic/Paralympic efforts to help strengthen the airline’s position as the preferred choice for existing and future travelers.
  • Track emerging social media trends and apply current best practices to campaign planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with the media team and external agencies to contribute to paid media planning and keep strategies aligned.
  • Work alongside internal stakeholders to incorporate social-first thinking and platform best practices into projects.
  • Contribute fresh ideas that keep the brand visible and recognized as an innovative marketing leader.
  • Collaborate with in-house design teams and outside agencies to develop creative assets for national, international, and regionally focused initiatives.
  • Handle timelines effectively and ensure progress stays on track across several stakeholders and teams.
