Social Media Content Creator

Role overview

Wripple is looking for a Social Media Content Creator and Brand Ambassador for a retail grocery client. This is a long-term, remote contract role, and candidates must be based in New York or New Jersey to be eligible.

The assignment is project-based, with content work provided whenever the client has a need. The selected person will act as both the hands-on creator and the on-camera face of the brand, producing social-first video content for channels such as Instagram and TikTok.

The role calls for someone who can manage the full content workflow independently, including idea generation, scripting, filming, editing, and presenting on camera.

What you will do

• Develop original social content ideas that support brand goals and reflect current platform trends.
• Represent the brand on camera as the featured talent and ambassador in content pieces.
• Record and edit short-form videos designed for Instagram, TikTok, and similar social channels.
• Partner with marketing and creative stakeholders to deliver against content briefs and campaign concepts.
• Keep up with new social trends, platform updates, and effective creator-led content approaches.
• Produce refined, attention-grabbing content that strengthens engagement and brand visibility.

Experience and application expectations

• Applicants should have a track record of creating social-first content for brands, agencies, or personal creator platforms.
• Hands-on experience in video production, including filming, editing, and post-production, is required.
• Comfort appearing on camera is essential.
• A strong grasp of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends is important.
• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple content requests is needed.
• Strong communication and storytelling abilities are expected.
• Candidates must be located in the New York or New Jersey area.
• Portfolio or sample work showing the ability to ideate, produce, edit, and appear in social video content must be submitted for consideration.

This role is fully remote.

It is a project-based engagement, with work assigned as content requirements come up.

There may be an opportunity to extend the engagement depending on performance and business needs.
