Overview

BackTable Cardiology invites applications for a part-time Social Media Clip Coordinator position, offering fully remote work from Oregon, USA. This role is ideal for medical or pre-medical students passionate about medicine, technology, and podcasting, with responsibilities centered around the coordination and publication of podcast clips on LinkedIn and X platforms.

Role Responsibilities

  • Monitor the content pipeline to identify podcast clips ready for social media distribution.
  • Create branded thumbnails using preset templates to maintain visual consistency.
  • Schedule clip postings accurately on LinkedIn and X, ensuring proper timing.
  • Verify the accuracy of captions, links, formatting, accounts, and scheduled publishing dates.
  • Research and apply appropriate tags related to physicians, guests, and organizations.
  • Maintain updated workflow statuses and track content progress.
  • Confirm successful publication of scheduled posts and promptly flag missing assets, scheduling conflicts, ambiguous instructions, or potential delays.

Candidate Requirements

  • Current enrollment as a medical student or undergraduate pursuing degrees in biological sciences, biomedical engineering, health sciences, or related pre-medical disciplines.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.6.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective time management and ability to adhere to established workflows.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn social media publishing tools including LinkedIn and X platforms.
  • Familiarity or eagerness to learn tools such as YouTube Studio, Canva, and social media graphic design adhering to brand standards.
  • Strong written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to independently manage recurring tasks.

Commitment and Compensation

The role requires a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week, compensated at a rate of $22 per hour.
