Role Overview

The company is looking for a creative, culture-aware, digitally fluent Social Media & Community Manager to lead organic presence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. The role is centered on shaping the brand’s social identity, building content strategies that increase engagement and growth, and fostering a strong community online and in person. Success in this position calls for both strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and continually refine the organic social strategy as a core driver of brand growth.
  • Define the brand’s social perspective and establish how social fits into the broader brand ecosystem.
  • Spot and scale opportunities across creators, content types, cultural moments, and emerging platforms.
  • Review performance data, turn it into practical insights, and use it to improve content outcomes.
  • Use a test-and-learn mindset to strengthen engagement, reach, and brand affinity.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to connect social with launches, campaigns, retail activity, and commerce efforts.
  • Plan and manage the organic content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Create weekly and monthly calendars tied to launches, campaigns, and seasonal priorities.
  • Build channel-specific strategies for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Turn product benefits, ingredient narratives, beauty routines, and wellness education into highly engaging short-form content.
  • Keep a reliable posting cadence aligned with business goals.
  • Improve captions, hooks, and creative treatments based on platform best practices.
  • Schedule and publish content while checking for accuracy across channels.
  • Spot new storytelling angles and recommend fresh content ideas.
  • Create and edit content using tools such as Canva, CapCut, InShot, or similar software.
  • Produce stories, carousels, motion graphics, thumbnails, and short-form video assets.
  • Rework creator content and user-generated content for use on organic social.
  • Coordinate with creative and influencer teams to strengthen content performance.
  • Keep an organized library of approved assets, templates, and creative resources.
  • Establish and uphold the brand voice across social platforms so it feels elevated, approachable, educational, and culturally relevant.
  • Handle comments and direct messages promptly and thoughtfully.
  • Participate authentically in relevant conversations and cultural moments.
  • Track audience sentiment, repeating questions, and community feedback.
  • Pass consumer insights to internal teams to support marketing and product decisions.
  • Escalate customer issues or sensitive matters when required.
  • Use AI tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Jasper, or comparable platforms to support creative output.
  • Stay current on AI-generated content and digital storytelling trends.
  • Balance automation and efficiency with an authentic brand voice.
  • Support live brand activations and community experiences.
  • Help plan and host small, high-impact events that deepen engagement and loyalty.
  • Convert digital audiences into lasting brand advocates and community members.

Candidate Profile

The ideal person is a digital native who notices trends early, understands creator-led content, and feels confident working in beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and consumer culture. They should be comfortable using technology as a creative advantage, able to work independently from concept to completion, and equally at ease creating content, editing visuals, appearing on camera, and leading community experiences.

Preferred Experience

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in social media and community management.
  • Background with high-growth brands in beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer goods.
  • Strong working knowledge of Canva, CapCut, InShot, or similar editing tools.
  • Experience using AI tools within content creation workflows.
  • Exposure to influencer marketing and user-generated content strategies.
  • Excellent writing skills and strong community engagement ability.
