Job description
Role Overview
The Social Marketing Manager works within Amazon Studios' global social marketing team and is responsible for conceptualizing and executing innovative, high-impact social marketing campaigns for assigned titles. This role involves crafting global social strategies, driving creative social content, analytics, community engagement, and integrating cutting-edge social innovations such as AR/VR and paid social media initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage social marketing campaigns for designated Amazon Studios titles.
- Devise visionary social marketing approaches that reinforce Amazon Studios and Prime Video’s market position in the streaming industry, aligned with overall brand and business strategies.
- Create inspiring, imaginative campaigns that boost brand awareness and encourage viewer engagement.
- Apply strong strategic thinking to develop innovative and award-worthy social marketing concepts.
- Continuously improve social marketing standards and tactics on a global scale.
- Leverage performance data to refine and enhance social marketing plans.
- Participate in campaign evaluations and confidently present social marketing strategies to senior leadership.
- Innovate and propose groundbreaking social programs and events supporting new launches.
- Drive operational excellence by establishing policies, procedures, and best practices within the social marketing function.
Business & Collaboration
- Efficiently manage social campaign budgets and timelines to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders—including PR, Media, Brand, Strategy, Creative, International Partners, and executive leaders—and external partners such as filmmakers and agencies to build strong relationships and drive alignment.
- Prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively, communicating potential risks or trade-offs regarding project schedules.
- Proactively anticipate challenges and escalate issues to senior management, exercising sound judgment in uncertain situations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional marketing experience beyond internships.
- Proven capability in utilizing data and metrics for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, macros) and analytical tools such as Tableau.
Preferred Experience
- At least 3 years of professional marketing experience excluding internships.

The annual base salary ranges from 80,600 to 141,100 USD, depending on factors such as experience and geography. Compensation packages include sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units (RSUs).
