About the Role
This position is based in Chicago and follows a hybrid work model, with time split between home and a LinkedIn office according to team and business needs.
The role sits within the Talent Solutions team and is focused on creating new business opportunities, engaging inbound leads, and proactively reaching out to target accounts across the region. The right candidate will identify the most suitable technology options for client needs and sell recruitment-focused corporate solutions while keeping the client’s best interests at the center of every interaction.

Responsibilities
- Continuously prospect to expand the sales pipeline and build meaningful relationships with potential customers.
- Maintain accurate and dependable forecasts and keep management fully informed about pipeline progress.
- Consistently win new business at or above target quota.
- Plan and execute a territory strategy while documenting and sharing competitive intelligence.
- Support teammates through coaching and constructive feedback when improvement opportunities arise.
- Help define and spread best practices that can serve as a foundation for the team.
- Gather market feedback and communicate insights to product and marketing stakeholders.
- Take initiative in solving issues, including matters outside the immediate scope of the role, and step into additional responsibilities as needed.
- Look for chances to lead and contribute to the company’s broader goals.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant sales experience.
- Background in recruiting, recruitment media, or HR software is preferred.
- Experience working with SaaS opportunities and the Salesforce.com platform is preferred.
- Prior success selling IT or recruiting solutions is preferred.
- Understanding of software contract terms and the ability to structure fair transactions is preferred.
- Strong negotiation ability and reliable forecasting skills.
- Proven skill in identifying, managing, and closing senior-level business in an evangelist-style sales environment.
- Ability to evaluate opportunities using data and use that information to guide decisions and influence others.
- Comfort handling many prospect situations at the same time while positioning products against both direct and indirect competitors.
Compensation
The target pay range for this role is USD 106,000 to 152,000 OTE. Final compensation depends on factors such as skills, experience depth, certifications, and work location. The total package may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, benefits, and/or other incentive plans.
