About the role
Join a relationship-led team where collaboration and customer focus are central to the way work gets done. This opportunity is part of NAB’s Business Direct Small Business group, a team with a strong emphasis on customer obsession and supporting internal colleagues. The position is based in Central Coast, NSW, and offers the chance to help small business customers grow while strengthening long-term banking relationships.
What you’ll do
- Simplify the lending process for small business requests, handling facilities up to $2 million and home lending up to $3 million.
- Work quickly and efficiently to help lift revenue and improve customer advocacy.
- Focus on creating a banking experience that encourages customers to view NAB as their preferred bank.
- Take ownership of customer needs and deliver banking solutions tailored to the whole relationship.
- Partner closely with Retail Branch and Broker teams to strengthen portfolio performance and improve outcomes for customers.
What we’re looking for
- A genuine drive to build trusted, personal relationships with customers and help them achieve their business goals.
- Background in lending within business banking or retail banking.
- Exposure to agribusiness will be considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of the SME market.
- Well-developed customer management and relationship-building capability.
- Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
