Overview
This role offers a short-term contract opportunity as a Sleep Specialist, focusing on behavioral sleep medicine annotation. The position is fully remote and compensates at $46 per hour, requiring a weekly commitment of 30 to 40 hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and annotate various sleep parameters including stages, duration, onset and wake times, and disturbances by analyzing sensor data, logs, or sleep diaries.
- Identify and classify markers of sleep quality, detecting patterns indicative of frequent sleep disorders.
- Perform cross-validation between subjective reports and objective measurements from sleep monitoring devices.
- Detect and flag any irregularities, missing entries, or errors related to devices or measurements.
- Utilize and assist in improving standardized protocols for sleep data annotation.
- Ensure high accuracy and uniformity when handling extensive datasets.
Required Qualifications
- Educational background in sleep science, physiology, psychology, or associated health-related disciplines.
- Knowledge of sleep monitoring technologies, including actigraphy and basic polysomnography (PSG) principles.
- Strong detail orientation and ability to recognize patterns in complex data.
- Proficiency working with time-series data and annotation software platforms.
