Role Overview
Lemieux & Associates is hiring experienced SIU/Claims Investigators for the Syracuse, NY area and nearby locations. This opening begins as a part-time role, with the possibility of becoming full-time for the right candidate. What You’ll Do
- Prepare clear, detailed, and accurate investigative reports.
- Collect written and recorded statements from relevant parties.
- Carry out scene-based investigations.
- Take precise photographs of evidence such as accident locations and vehicle damage.
Required Experience
This role is intended for professionals with complex SIU/Claims investigation experience. Candidates must live in Syracuse or the surrounding area. Applicants without SIU/Claims experience will not be considered.
Additional Experience and Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work on complex SIU/Claims matters is mandatory.
- Background in surveillance work as a Private Investigator is preferred, though not essential.
- Fluency in more than one language is an advantage.
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related discipline is a plus.
- Holding a notary license is also considered beneficial.
- Willingness to travel when required is important.
- Applicants should be comfortable working irregular and changing hours and days.
- Strong computer and internet proficiency is needed.
- A valid state-issued driver’s license is required.
- A dependable vehicle, digital camera, computer with Windows, Microsoft Word, and internet access are necessary tools for the role.
- The ideal candidate takes pride in submitting work promptly and on time.

Work Arrangement
