Sign Designer / Graphic Designer

About the Role

Join a dynamic, established sign manufacturing company crafting a broad range of physical signage products, including vehicle wraps, channel letters, monuments, historic markers, and customized architectural signs. This position offers the rare opportunity to transform creative ideas into tangible visual products prominently displayed across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original designs for custom signage, vehicle wraps, wall graphics, banners, and other visual elements.
• Develop customer-facing renderings and presentation concepts to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Produce artwork that meets production specifications, ensuring readiness for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate closely with sales, production, and installation teams to coordinate projects and maintain smooth workflow.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Review and finalize customer artwork, preparing files for print, routing, fabrication, and production phases.
• Keep digital files and project documents orderly and accessible.

Qualifications

• Mandatory proficiency in Adobe Illustrator with a strong design skill set.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of layout design, typography, color theory, and brand identity principles.
• Capability to prepare files suitable for large-format printing and fabrication workflows.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Experience within the signage industry is beneficial but not essential for motivated applicants.

Additional Bonus Skills

• Design experience specifically related to channel letters, monuments, or architectural signage.
• Competence in vehicle wrap design techniques.
• Proficiency with AI-powered design tools to enhance efficiency.
• Knowledge of environmental graphics and large-format print production.
• Understanding of vinyl cutting processes and CNC/router file preparation.
• Familiarity with 3D rendering applications is desirable.
