About the Role
OXYENERGY is looking for a seasoned Graphic and Packaging Designer to spearhead packaging design and visual identity development spanning food, health, and consumer product categories. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in shaping packaging strategies, fostering innovative design approaches, and delivering superior packaging experiences that elevate brand recognition and boost consumer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and define packaging design strategies as well as visual direction for food, health, and consumer product lines to maintain consistency across the brand portfolio.
- Perform market research and analyze consumer insights to pinpoint design trends, preferences, and innovation opportunities.
- Lead comprehensive packaging design cycles, encompassing new product packages, updates to existing packaging, and creative gift set concepts.
- Generate compelling design concepts by evaluating product positioning, key features, and user scenarios.
- Oversee all design aspects including structural design, visual identity, colour schemes, packaging formats, specifications, barcode placement, and material choices.
- Ensure rigorous quality control throughout design development to guarantee packaging meets brand and production standards.
Key Requirements
- Fluency in English at a native level.
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree or higher in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of expertise in professional packaging design.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant creative software.
- Experience utilizing AI-driven creative tools to support design ideation and workflows.
- Deep knowledge of market trends, consumer behaviors, and new directions in packaging design.
- A strong passion for packaging design with excellent creative judgment and strategic thinking ability to produce innovative solutions.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with marketing, product development, and manufacturing teams.
- A global design outlook, understanding international trends and diverse consumer aesthetics.
