Senior Graphic Designer

About the Role

Join RealNZ as a Senior Graphic Designer on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working from Queenstown to craft inspiring visuals that highlight some of New Zealand's most iconic destinations. You'll contribute across the RealNZ portfolio—including brands like Cardrona and Treble Cone—shaping exceptional creative outputs spanning print, digital, environmental, and experiential platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and execution of fresh visual design concepts for tourism and mountain-related brands.
• Develop engaging visuals across various media such as print materials, digital content, merchandise, environmental design, and marketing collateral.
• Produce campaign assets tailored for multiple audience segments and delivery channels.
• Support major brand and experience development projects alongside everyday marketing activities.
• Uphold and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and suppliers to deliver projects within established timelines and budgets.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated commercial experience in graphic design with a strong emphasis on conceptual thinking and brand development beyond routine execution.
• A background producing creative work across print, signage, digital ads, marketing collateral, corporate communications, and branded merchandise.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite tools, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and familiarity with Figma.
• Strong knowledge of print production processes with high attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver quality work in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Openness to integrating emerging technologies such as AI-assisted design tools.
