Senior Graphic Designer

About the Role

We are inviting an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our creative team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, contributing to the RealNZ portfolio including RealNZ, Cardrona, and Treble Cone. This opportunity calls for a designer skilled in both conceptual thinking and high-quality creative delivery, shaping projects across diverse platforms such as print, digital, environmental, and experiential mediums.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts on creative initiatives for tourism and mountain brand projects.
• Develop striking visual content for print materials, digital platforms, merchandise, environmental designs, and marketing campaigns.
• Create multi-channel campaign assets targeting various audiences and formats.
• Support brand development and experiential projects while ensuring ongoing marketing deliverables are met.
• Maintain and evolve brand identities, ensuring consistency across all channels and contact points.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and suppliers to deliver quality outcomes within timeframes and budgets.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated professional experience in commercial graphic design.
• Strong expertise in brand and conceptual design beyond routine production work.
• Proficient in creating designs across print, signage, digital advertising, marketing collateral, corporate communications, and branded merchandise.
• Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with Figma.
• Detailed knowledge of print production and excellent attention to detail.
• Capability to juggle competing tasks and deliver superior quality under pressure.
• Excellent communication abilities and effective stakeholder management.
• Enthusiasm for adopting new technologies, including AI-assisted design tools.

Additional Information

This position is based in Wanaka, Otago, New Zealand, and is contracted for twelve months. The role reports directly to the Creative Lead.
