Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Showroom Executive to join the Fashion, Watches, and Fine Jewellery Communications division. This role plays a pivotal part in managing the showroom operations, overseeing local and international sample loans, maintaining the showroom’s organization and upkeep, and supporting media relations efforts with stylists, influencers, and fashion journalists.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the Fashion, Watches, Fine Jewellery (FWFJ) Press Showroom.
- Coordinate local and international sample loan processes, ensuring smooth logistics and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Oversee and authorize ad-hoc product transfers and loans involving retail inventory and Chanel Fashion Boutiques.
- Collaborate with the Senior Communications Manager on strategic planning, forecasting, and executing a 12-month calendar.
- Negotiate and manage editorial placements and agreements with media partners.
- Assist in organizing brand-related local events such as collection previews and product launches.
- Respond to media inquiries by providing appropriate content and resources aligned with PR strategy and global standards.
- Prepare necessary documents for press meetings, photoshoots, appointments, and trips.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media, fashion editors, journalists, influencers, and their representation.
- Identify and engage with emerging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the market to foster new partnerships.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a tertiary qualification in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Possesses at least three years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, and Showroom Management.
- Familiar with luxury brand and Fashion, Watch, & Fine Jewellery public relations.
- Has a thorough understanding of fashion and lifestyle media landscapes in Australia and New Zealand.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational capabilities, adept at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
- Experienced in Fashion GPS platform and knowledgeable about AX systems.
- Exhibits proactive problem-solving skills, enthusiasm, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
