Overview
Wendy's is hiring a shift manager to oversee daily restaurant operations in Tillsonburg, Ontario. This role is based at the physical work location and cannot be performed remotely.

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
Experience
Experience of 7 months to less than 1 year is needed.
Work Setting
The position is in a food service establishment.
Responsibilities
The shift manager will organize schedules, lead food preparation teams, support training, and help maintain quality and service standards.
- Create and manage work schedules to match operational needs.
- Oversee staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train team members on job tasks, sanitation rules, and safety practices.
- Work out ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation.
- Participate in hiring food service employees.
- Monitor food quality and service delivery to ensure standards are met.
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns.
- Keep records related to inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Draft and submit reports as required.
- Set and adjust work schedules.
Supervision
This role oversees cooks, general food service counter attendants, food preparers, and a team of 16 to 20 people.
