About the role
Shannons is looking for a Motor Assessor to join its assessment team in Australia. This permanent position is available in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart, Perth, or Brisbane CBD, with a hybrid setup that includes work from home. The role is suited to someone with strong vehicle assessment expertise, trade qualifications, and a genuine enthusiasm for motoring.
What you will do
- Assess, inspect, and value vehicles with a high level of accuracy and attention to workmanship.
- Prepare clear repair estimates and work to achieve safe, cost-conscious repair outcomes.
- Interact with customers and business partners in the motoring space.
- Work closely with a collaborative team focused on quality and results.
What you need
- A Certificate III in panel beating or spray painting is mandatory.
- You should have at least 5 years of experience after trade qualification.
- Experience creating precise vehicle repair estimates is essential.
- Strong organisational ability, a keen eye for detail, and a service-oriented approach are required.
- A real interest in cars, including classics, modern vehicles, and performance models, is important.
