Overview
Join Royal Mail as a Postperson with Driving responsibilities at the Bicester Delivery Office (OX26 4ZZ). This permanent position involves working 37 hours a week across five days from Monday to Sunday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with a requirement to work three Sundays every six weeks. This role is essential in connecting communities, delivering important mail and parcels rain or shine, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and securely deliver all items within your route, including election materials and certain products such as food and alcohol, following Royal Mail standards.
- Engage positively with customers and serve as a friendly face in the community.
- Fulfill delivery duties on schedule, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
- Maintain physical fitness to manage extended walking periods outdoors in various weather conditions.
Candidate Profile
- Energetic, self-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Organized, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent customer care.
- Personable with strong community spirit and pride in the role.
- Capable of walking long distances regardless of weather.
- Holder of a full UK manual driving licence with fewer than seven penalty points.

- Guaranteed hourly pay of £13.68, paid monthly and adjusted according to working hours.
