About the Role
Culligan Ireland is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join their team in Cork. This full-time, permanent position involves ensuring customers receive high-quality service through the delivery, installation, servicing, and maintenance of water coolers and filtration systems. As a field-based technician, you will be crucial in supporting Culligan Ireland's service operations, including conducting site surveys, performing installations, exchanges, collections, and routine or reactive maintenance. Your role is vital in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding the Culligan brand's reputation in the field.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all equipment is functioning optimally and meeting customer needs
- Conduct on-site surveys, installations, repairs, services, exchanges, and collections
- Diagnose equipment faults and implement effective solutions
- Adhere to a structured, efficient daily schedule while remaining flexible for urgent tasks
- Manage van stock, tools, and inventory to ensure successful completion of daily duties
- Accurately record service visit details using a provided digital tablet
- Deliver a professional and courteous service experience to all customers
Requirements
- Possess a full and valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points and no disqualifying offenses
- Have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- Demonstrate proven experience in diagnosing and resolving technical or mechanical issues
- Exhibit strong geographical knowledge of the Cork area and surrounding regions
- Be capable of working independently and adhering to set schedules
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach
