Service Technician

Role overview

This permanent full-time position is for a field-based Service Technician supporting water cooler and filtration system services in the Cork area. The role is central to delivering reliable customer service through installation, servicing, maintenance, exchanges, collections, and survey work. A six-month probation period applies.

The salary is €32,000 per year, paid monthly, and includes an annual tax-free meal allowance of €4,000.

What you will do

• Make sure all equipment is operating correctly and continues to meet customer expectations.
• Complete site surveys, installations, repairs, servicing, exchanges, and collection work on customer premises.
• Identify technical issues and apply practical fixes.
• Work to a planned daily route while staying adaptable for urgent or reactive jobs.
• Keep the van stock, tools, and inventory organised so daily tasks can be completed efficiently.
• Log service activity accurately using the supplied tablet and digital systems.
• Deliver a professional, polite, and customer-focused service at all times.

Requirements

• You must hold a full, valid driving licence with no more than 6 points and no disqualifying offences.
• You need at least 3 years of driving experience.
• You should have demonstrable experience solving mechanical or technical faults.
• A good working knowledge of the local geography and nearby areas is required.
• You must be able to work on your own and follow a scheduled workload.
• Strong people skills and a service-first attitude are essential.
