Job description
Position Overview
We are hiring a Service Manager for the Criminal jurisdiction at Auckland District Court on a permanent full-time basis. This leadership role reports to the Manager of Justice Services (Auckland Central), Criminal section, focusing on coaching and supporting staff to enhance capabilities and foster a culture of high performance.
Key Responsibilities
The Service Manager will oversee service delivery, aiming to elevate operational quality and uniformity across their team and the broader Service Delivery Area. The role involves leading diverse teams, managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and promoting a culture underscored by respect, integrity, service, and excellence.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated operational management experience.
- Strong leadership capabilities to inspire staff, achieve targets, and connect team contributions to overall objectives.
- Proven success in supporting and implementing business and process changes.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Resilience and confidence in a public-facing leadership role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and team motivation.

Salary Information
The salary range for this position is NZD 99,208 to NZD 135,539 annually, with remuneration within this band determined according to experience and skills. Exceptional candidates may be offered salaries at the higher end.
