About Harmony Auto and Denza Brand Development
Harmony Auto is a global automotive dealership group specializing in premium and luxury vehicles. Since establishing a strategic partnership with BYD in 2023, Harmony Auto has taken charge of building and managing multiple international market channels for BYD's brands. Currently, to support Denza's growth in New Zealand, the company is seeking dedicated 'denza partners' to join retail operations and contribute to launching the brand in new markets.
Role Summary
The Service Advisor will serve a key customer-facing role, bridging communication between clients and the dealership service department. This position entails managing daily front desk operations in the after-sales service area, coordinating maintenance workflows, and assisting the Service Manager in achieving departmental objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and expand the dealership's maintenance service offerings.
- Schedule and manage customer maintenance appointments effectively.
- Greet customers and prepare accurate work orders.
- Oversee the progress of vehicle maintenance activities.
- Ensure vehicles are readied appropriately for delivery following service.
- Manage vehicle handover and return processes smoothly.
- Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction post-service.
- Coordinate procurement of specialized parts as required.
- Apply warranty policies consistently and fairly.
- Assist with pre-delivery inspections and new vehicle handovers.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues proactively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Diploma or higher qualification in Automotive or a related discipline.
- Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum 3 years experience in automotive repair or allied sectors.
- At least 1 year experience in a customer service role.
- Familiarity with BYD and Toyota operational processes is a plus.
Skills and Attributes
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software systems.
- Strong communication and analytical abilities.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Positive attitude, committed team player, professional demeanor, and resilience under pressure.
