Role Overview
We seek a highly skilled Senior Video Editor to be the company's first in-house video production expert. This full-time contractor position is fully remote from Colombia, and requires fluency in both Spanish and professional English. Candidates should be capable of managing the entire post-production workflow independently, and creating engaging video content that furthers brand awareness and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of post-production from raw footage to final versions
- Edit polished marketing videos tailored for various digital channels
- Apply color grading, audio enhancements, motion graphics, visual effects, and captions
- Optimize content for organic and paid digital marketing efforts
- Create short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
- Produce testimonial videos, project features, educational materials, and promotional clips
- Develop Meta advertising creatives with high conversion potential
- Maintain brand consistency through reusable templates and style guides
- Organize and systematize the video asset library and improve footage capture guidelines
- Collaborate closely with marketing and leadership to develop compelling visual stories
- Recommend and implement improvements for video quality, performance, and efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years professional video editing experience
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in both short-form and long-form branded videos
- Expert level Adobe Premiere Pro skills
- Advanced use of After Effects or DaVinci Resolve, including motion graphics
- Strong capabilities in color correction, sound design, typography, and storytelling
- Experience creating content optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and paid ads
- Fluency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English
- Excellent time management and independent work ability in remote settings
- Clear communication skills and proactive project management
- Preferred: Experience in home services or related industries, direct-response advertising, drone footage editing, basic graphic design, and knowledge of digital marketing branding strategies
