Position Summary

The Senior Vice President of Marketing is a top-tier executive role charged with steering the company’s worldwide marketing direction, brand development, customer acquisition, market expansion, and overall commercial impact. This leader oversees the full marketing ecosystem, including brand stewardship, demand generation, digital channels, product marketing, customer research, communications, marketing operations, and analytics, with the goal of driving revenue growth and improving competitive strength.

This position works in close partnership with the CEO, CMO, CRO, CCO, Sales, Product, Customer Experience, Finance, Operations, and regional leaders to ensure marketing spend and priorities support the broader business plan and long-range objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise marketing strategy

  • Create and implement the company’s enterprise marketing plan and long-term growth roadmap.
  • Connect marketing programs to corporate goals, revenue targets, and expansion plans.
  • Set global governance, standards, and performance measures for marketing.
  • Drive company-wide brand transformation and positioning efforts.
  • Spot new market opportunities and sources of competitive advantage.

Brand and market leadership

  • Own brand strategy, corporate identity, and market positioning across all business units.
  • Keep messaging consistent across digital, retail, partner, and customer touchpoints.
  • Lead integrated campaigns that build brand awareness and increase market share.
  • Boost engagement and loyalty through data-led marketing initiatives.
  • Protect and enhance the company’s reputation and executive presence.

Revenue growth and demand generation

  • Lead initiatives for demand generation, customer acquisition, lead management, and pipeline growth.
  • Work with Sales and Commercial teams to improve revenue outcomes.
  • Design go-to-market plans for new products, services, and international launches.
  • Improve marketing ROI through ongoing performance optimization.
  • Grow customer lifetime value through retention and loyalty programs.

Digital marketing and customer engagement

  • Direct the enterprise digital marketing approach across web, mobile, social, search, email, content, and e-commerce.
  • Oversee marketing automation, CRM, personalization, and customer engagement tools.
  • Apply AI-enabled marketing solutions, predictive analytics, and customer intelligence.
  • Enhance digital customer experiences and omnichannel engagement.
  • Lead innovation in marketing technology and digital transformation.

Marketing analytics and business performance

  • Define marketing KPIs, executive dashboards, and performance reporting systems.
  • Review campaign results, customer behavior, market shifts, and competitor activity.
  • Improve marketing investments using data-informed decisions.
  • Present strategic findings and performance updates to executive leadership and the board.
  • Support corporate planning through market research and forecasting.

Executive leadership

  • Lead teams across Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Communications, Marketing Operations, Customer Insights, and Creative Services.
  • Manage large marketing budgets, strategic spend, agency partnerships, and organizational planning.
  • Develop the next generation of marketing leaders and strengthen the global team.
  • Promote innovation, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement throughout the function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, brand management, commercial strategy, digital marketing, or business development.
  • Background leading enterprise-scale or global marketing organizations.
  • Deep expertise in integrated marketing, digital transformation, customer analytics, brand strategy, revenue growth, and marketing technology.
  • Experience handling large marketing budgets and global teams.
  • Strong executive-level leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
