Senior Trust & Safety Specialist – E-commerce, AI & Policy Operations

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Trust & Safety Specialist to join a global technology client on a 12-month contract basis. Based in Dublin, this hybrid position requires three days per week onsite. The role focuses on safeguarding the integrity of a major e-commerce platform by managing policy enforcement, investigations, and marketplace integrity while integrating AI and analytics solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead policy enforcement activities, investigations, and handle escalations to maintain marketplace trust.
• Identify and address issues regarding counterfeit goods, prohibited and unsafe products, as well as marketplace abuses.
• Apply AI and large language models (LLMs), including involvement in machine learning processes like data labeling, model evaluation, and automating enforcement operations.
• Utilize advanced SQL and analytical techniques to generate reports, monitor trends, and assess performance metrics.
• Design and implement operational policies and guidelines aimed at scalable trust and safety solutions.
• Engage with vendors and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, AI, and Operations to ensure seamless enforcement processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in Trust & Safety roles within e-commerce, online marketplaces, or shopping platforms.
• In-depth understanding of counterfeit detection, prohibited and unsafe product issues, and marketplace integrity challenges.
• Proficiency in AI/LLMs technologies, machine learning concepts, and process automation strategies.
• Strong command of SQL and data analytics to support decision-making and operational insights.
• Experience with major marketplace platforms such as Amazon, eBay, or Shopify is highly advantageous.
