Role Overview

The Senior Territory Manager will be instrumental in expanding Halter’s business footprint and enhancing customer success across their assigned region. This individual is responsible for delivering sales outcomes, nurturing customer partnerships, and embodying Halter's presence on the ground. The role emphasizes growth optimization and value creation for clients while working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure our solutions align with market needs.

Location and Relocation

Positions are open throughout Australia’s states and territories, offering an opportunity to experience the country’s diverse environments. Halter supports relocation expenses and temporary accommodation to assist new hires moving from abroad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and generate new sales leads, engaging via various outreach methods, industry events, and referrals, handling the sales pipeline from prospecting through to closing.
  • Achieve ambitious sales targets through effective qualification, product demonstrations, and contract negotiations.
  • Manage ongoing customer relationships post-sale to ensure satisfaction, support, and upselling opportunities, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to onboarding and product deployment.
  • Exercise full ownership of the territory by cultivating and maintaining strong ties with agricultural groups and the beef farming community.
  • Facilitate the end-to-end customer onboarding experience, coordinating with internal teams to maximize the impact and value of Halter’s solutions.
  • Gather detailed customer insights and relay field feedback to Product, Support, and R&D teams to aid continuous product improvement.
  • Collaborate with Support teams to swiftly address customer issues, escalating when necessary to maintain a high standard of client care.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven expertise in value-driven sales and customer success, with a track record in developing opportunities, closing business, and building enduring client partnerships.
  • Experience or strong passion for the beef industry, with a willingness to quickly learn operational aspects of farming.
  • A competitive spirit that thrives under pressure, leading teams by setting an example and delivering measurable results.
  • Skilled in territory management, balancing aggressive sales growth and customer satisfaction with thoughtful decision making.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a collaborative mindset, adept at working cross-functionally.
  • Preparedness to travel extensively within the assigned territory to engage customers and prospects.

Compensation

This role offers a total compensation package ranging from A$188,000 to A$208,000 per year.
