Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract based at our Mascot Campus. This role involves leading executive and senior-level recruitment across the Corporate portfolio, partnering with senior leaders to influence hiring outcomes and enhance workforce capability, developing strategic talent pipelines, and delivering innovative sourcing solutions aligned with the Qantas brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end recruitment for executive and senior roles within Corporate functions such as Sales, Distribution, Customer, Legal, and Safety.
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders and HR partners to design and implement strategic sourcing strategies.
- Mentor and uplift the Talent Acquisition team, promoting best recruitment practices and continuous improvement.
- Provide market insights and strategic talent advice to influence hiring decisions and outcomes.
- Build and maintain proactive talent pools and high-quality candidate experiences.
Candidate Profile
- Proven extensive experience in Talent Acquisition managing senior and executive recruitment across corporate domains.
- Strong strategic mindset focused on innovation and enhancing recruitment processes.
- Adaptable and positive approach to managing change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with aptitude for exploring new sourcing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of advising at senior leadership levels.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent pooling, headhunting, and networking within relevant talent markets.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems; experience with SmartRecruiters is a plus.
