Role Overview
This Senior Strategic Account Executive will primarily focus on the Singapore and Philippines markets, spearheading business growth and market transformation. The role involves collaborating closely with Sales leadership and internal teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies, expand revenue streams, and nurture long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed regional revenue goals covering new recurring revenue, renewals, and consulting services.
- Develop comprehensive account plans for strategic customers and execute account-based growth strategies to fulfill assigned quotas.
- Leverage strong C-suite relationships to drive business expansion and customer retention.
- Identify, qualify, and close new software subscription and consulting service opportunities.
- Optimize sales operations by aligning resources to capitalize on existing and new growth avenues.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture that exceeds stakeholder expectations.
- Utilize global and regional resources to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Manage significant customers within the Philippines territory and drive direct, high-touch sales engagement.
- Collaborate with local partnerships in Singapore to enhance sales initiatives.
- Lead forecast management, sales reporting, and account lifecycle tracking using Salesforce and related tools.
- Engage deeply with stakeholders to align sales efforts with market and customer needs.
- Serve as primary executive liaison for enterprise accounts, shaping revenue growth and retention through strategic account management.
- Lead complex contract negotiations and multi-stakeholder engagements with enterprise clients.
- Partner with pre-sales and delivery teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and value realization.
- Represent EDB at industry forums and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior executives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Over 10 years of direct sales experience within Singapore and Philippines markets focusing on high-touch IT solutions, primarily serving financial services industry (FSI) clients.
- At least 5 years selling database products to enterprise customers.
- Deep understanding of subscription sales models and collaboration with system integrators and partners.
- Extensive network within Singapore and Philippines banking, insurance, and fintech sectors.
- Experience working closely with FSI-focused system integrators, software distributors, and sellers in the region.
- Proven track record in securing new clients and expanding existing accounts in dynamic markets.
- Experience in selling open-source software and disruptive infrastructure technology is advantageous.
- Ability to package consulting services effectively to differentiate solutions and enhance customer success.
- University degree required; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
- Strong adaptability to market shifts with strategic realignment capabilities.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and conflict resolution in matrixed organizations.
- Advanced communication abilities and solid business analytical skills.
